I had one request from the ladies in my VIP subscription group, The CRafterparty, and that was to make a Thanksgiving craft last year. So we made this adorable Wood Block Turkey.

But honestly, I think that many “Fall”crafts can double as “Thanksgiving” if ya think about it. Just like this Dollar Tree Floral Foam Pumpkin can be used as a centerpiece for your Thanksgiving tablescape.

I’ve got this gorgeous neutral style foam pumpkin on my living room coffee table, and it looks just fab inside of my thrift store basket!

When we made this inside my subscription group, I gave the ladies a choice to do either a FALL one or a HALLOWEEN one. This could easily be mixed up by using a Dollar Tree foam skull and halloween florals, just like we did 2 years ago when we made this skull centerpiece.

Obviously, I went with Fall and I am so happy I did!

We painted the pumpkin white but used a baking soda technique to get it textured like you see here.

I am doing a gold, neutral, and leopard print fall theme this year, so I went with gold lines on my pumpkin.

These gorgeous fall florals are from Walmart and this is the thing that started this whole fall theme! I saw them and fell in LOVE!I added some leopard print leaves from Hobby Lobby, but I bought those a few years back and haven’t seen them this year.

I went with a small “Hello Fall” cutout and it’s hard to tell but it’s got a gold shimmer to it to help it stand out.

Here’s the Floral Foam Pumpkin from the side/back, just as pretty as the front!

It wouldn’t be a fall floral foam pumpkin centerpiece without some pine cones.

Don’t forget about Thanksgiving when you’re crafting and decorating for Fall and Christmas this year. Add this DIY Wood Block Turkey to your crafty to-do list, and you’ll have the perfect piece of decor to be grateful for!

I had one request from the ladies in my VIP subscription group, The CRafterparty, and that was to make a Thanksgiving craft last year. So that is what I did!

Thanksgiving is often talked about being “forgotten”, but I just think that Thanksgiving crafts are really just Fall crafts if ya think about it.

I mean yes, specifically TURKEYS are for Thanksgiving, but I think so many of the fall crafts that we make can be used through Thanksgiving as well.

But this little guy? He’s ALLLLL Turkey Day!

I went with a kind of fun and funky set of scrapbook paper, one of them even had camo!

You could totes do this lil’ Wood Block Turkey with whatever color or patterns that you love and that matches your home decor.

That little feather just sets it off, doesn’t it?

I added a cute raffia bow as the finishing touch and it was just what it needed to complete his look.

Neutral Fall Tiered Tray Inspo

Take a walk on the wild side with this Neutral Fall Tiered Tray. This handmade Rustic Tiered Tray decor has accents of Leopard Print, Gold, and Sunflowers, with plenty of pumpkins to go along with it. If this Neutral Fall Tiered Tray doesn’t give you all the Fall feels, then I don’t know what will!

Not only did I hand make all the decor that you see on this Neutral Fall Tiered Tray, I made the tray itself! If you’re following along on Facebook, you probably saw me make many of the pieces you see here live.

If it’s handmade and on this tiered tray, then there is a tutorial for it. The only things I did NOT make are some of the little filler pumpkins and hay bales, and the mini mugs from Hobby Lobby, because they never come off my tray.

I’ve decorated tiered trays in all sorts of shapes, sizes, colors, and styles. My last fall tiered tray was not neutral at all. It was a lot more traditional, but with lots of POPS of teal. And my smaller tiered tray is packed with cute Halloween decor. But this year I did something totally different and did a Neutral Fall Tiered Tray with leopard print accents throughout.

And I could not be any more in love! It looks so fabulous with the whole Neutral Fall-O-Ween vibe I have going on in my living room!

Neutral Fall Decorated Tiered Tray

Almost all of the little pieces that you see on this tray are handmade, including the Tiered Tray itself. I’ve linked below to the Facebook Live, and/or the blog post tutorial where we made each one so that you can easily find them if you want to make them yourself! Handmade Crafts for a Neutral Fall Tiered Tray

I don’t have a strict rulebook when it comes to decorating my Neutral Fall Tiered Tray. I know there are some decorating “rules” you are supposed to follow, but honestly I’ve never been one to follow those rules! I’m a #CraftyRebel.

One thing I do know to be true when it comes to decorating a Tiered Tray is that you want to create layers and varying heights with your pieces. One trick I have is to use little round wood discs as risers to create some height on things in the back. It makes a world of difference.

First things first, you need to start with a clean slate and take EVERYTHING off of your tray. Then I get out everything that I plan to use, so that I have it all right there in front of me.

Then, I just start putting things on and moving them around until I like how it looks. Sometimes I tweak and tinker with it for way too long before I get it how I want it.

Let’s start from the top with our Chunky Leaf, that is actually reversible from Target Dollar Spot. All I did was add the leopard print on the front, and music sheet on the back. In front of that is my fave piece on the whole tray….the Mini Salt Shaker Fall Florals!

To the right we have a cute It’s Fall Y’all Frame that was made with a napkin from the Big Pack of Craftkins (my napkin subscription).

It wouldn’t be a handmade Tiered Tray without the two staple pieces front and center…..the Mini Fall Bookstack and Mini Fall Wood Bead Garland.

Moving down to the middle, we have another fave front and center, the Mini Fall Ladder, surrounded by 3 Sunflower Mini Stamp Blocks that were made with Digital Deco Designs.

One of the blocks is on a Mini Pumpkin Riser that we made, and another is sitting in the Mini Mug from Hobby Lobby. And yes, I do realize that the one block is upside down, WHOOPS!

In the back left, we have the Burlap Candy Corn. This one wasn’t originally made for my Fall Tiered Tray, but I thought it fit on there perfectly so I decided to add it.

The two pumpkins, one mustard color and one dark brown, weren’t handmade. I found them in my stash and threw ’em on.

Before moving on down to the bottom, let’s talk about that Mini Burlap Pumpkin Banner that is hanging from the middle tier. So cute, right!?

Front and center on the bottom is the Mini Burlap Pumpkin Cutting board, with another mini mug and Sunflower block next to it. And those mini hay bales just absolutely make it!

It’s hard to see, but in the back right we have a reversible standing pumpkin. I intentionally made this one that was kind of big, and a little bit plain, because I knew that it would be hiding in the back.

In front of that is probably my third favorite, the Mini Pumpkin Pallet. It’s so pretty with those gold and white splatters, and the leopard print mini bow.

On the opposite side in the back we have the “Pumpkin Queen” round sitter. Another that was made with a napkin from my Big Pack of Craftkins.

And last but not least, the Leopard Print Pumpkin Pallet and the Gold Pine Cone. The pine cone was originally gold, but I painted it a *better* gold to match the rest of the Neutral Fall Tiered Tray.

The adorable little “Unbelievably Blessed” and “Thankful” mini mugs were a Fall Hobby Lobby find from a few year back, and are pretty much the only major items on here that I didn’t make!

If you see any little empty spaces, use your filler pumpkins and hay bales to fill in the gaps.

Some may say that my trays are “busy”, but that’s how I like them! And you do you BOO! What can I say, I’m EXTRA and it shows in my Neutral Fall Tiered Tray!

Happy Thanksgiving Napkin Decor

Take an adorable Happy Thanksgiving truck napkin and turn it into a piece of beautiful decor with just a few supplies and some decoupaging skills. This easy to make craft is a perfect piece to display for friends and family coming over for Thanksgiving dinner, it will leave them asking “Where’d you buy that!?”

We make a ton of easy and affordable DIY Holiday projects in my private crafting group, The CRafterparty, like this super dee duper cute Happy Thanksgiving Truck craft.

Now I know what you’re probably thinking……”But Amanda, I’m not gonna be able to find that napkin!” No fear! This exact same craft can be made with any cute napkin you can get your hands on.

Which means it can also be made for any season or Holiday. Got a cute Christmas napkin? Yup! Easter Bunny? Yup! As long as you’ve got a napkin, you can make this!

Technically you don’t even NEED a napkin. You could use a printable (free or paid), or even scrapbook paper. Get creative!

This cute Thanksgiving Truck napkin is from Hobby Lobby, but I did find it on Amazon too. Only problem is it comes in a set of complete paper dinnerware so you have to buy the paper plates and cups along with it. Question is, just how bad DO you want this napkin, LOL!

We used paint sticks to give this piece a slatted or planked look and I think we did a great job doing so.

Of course we added a cute little bow in coordinating colors, with a paper sunflower for good measure.

Some of the other ladies in The CRafterparty group got super creative with it and added all sorts of other embellishments. The choice is yours to go as jazzed up or as simple as you wish.

Dollar Tree ‘Hello Autumn’ Pumpkin Crate

Our 5th and final day of the “Back of the Calendar Crafts” series is this precious Dollar Tree “Hello Autumn” tiered tray pumpkin crate! We’ve officially made it to the end of a week of crafts made with the minis on the back of the Dollar Tree 2022 Calendar, and this one is going right onto my Fall tiered tray!

Day 5 of the “Back of the Calendar crafts” series! Today we’re making a mini tiered tray pumpkin crate with the “Thankful and Blessed” calendar print that is going to look amazing on my Fall Tiered Tray.

If you aren’t aware, this week were doing a series of crafts with the Dollar Tree 2022 Calendar prints. But it’s not what you think. We’re not using the large prints for each month. All of the crafts we’re doing can be made with the BACK of the calendar ‘minis’! Hence the name “Back of the Calendar crafts series LOL!

Make sure to check out a few others from the series like this Dollar Tree Mini Farm Fresh Pumpkins Frame, as well as Day 1’s Thankful and Blessed Tiered Tray Block. Look at all the Fall projects we’ve made below, this series is just the tip of the crafty iceberg!

The best part of this project is that it totally doesn’t have to be made with the “Thankful and Blessed” print for Fall. You could take this exact same concept and make a crate for any of the other seasons or holidays. Like Easter eggs for Easter!

How to Make a Hello Autumn Pumpkin Crate with Dollar Tree Calendar Minis

This is such a simple and easy project, you can whip it up in about 3 min flat.

Start this cutie off by painting the whole crate white, and then Mod Podging the Dollar Tree Mini Calendar print front and center on the top portion.

Paint your “Hello Autumn” teal, or whatever color you like, and glue it to the bottom front.

Fill the crate with some Raffia, and place your mini pumpkins right on top. I didn’t even glue the raffia in!

Lets continue with day 4 of our “Back of the Calendar Crafts” series with this beautiful Dollar Tree “Fall in Love” Mixed Sunflower Bouquet! We’ve almost made it to the end of a week of crafts made with the minis on the back of the Dollar Tree 2022 Calendar, and this one is a beauty!

Day 4 of the “Back of the Calendar crafts” series! Today we’re making a Mixed Sunflower Bouquet with the “Fall in Love” calendar print that is going to look amazing on my Fall Tiered Tray.

Styrofoam ball or cube

4 wooden half beads
White chalk or acrylic paint
Small 1/2″ wooden craft cubes
Mod Podge
Hot glue gun

How to Make a Dollar Tree Mixed Sunflower Bouquet with the Calendar Minis

I made this gorgeous Dollar Tree Mixed Sunflower Bouquet on video, so you can WATCH the step by step tutorial on HERE.

Start this beauty off by painting hollow craft cube all white and gluing 4 small wood cubes to the bottom as “feet”.

Mod Podge your Dollar Tree “Fall in Love” Mini Calendar print front and center, and then glue 4 half wood beads on each corner as decoration.

Now to make the arrangement. Trust me, I am no florist and I’m not very savvy when it comes to making floral arrangements, so just have fun with it!

Glue the foam ball inside the wooden box, and then start sticking the sunflower ends in one by one, filling in the gaps with smaller fall colored berry picks and greenery. Keep messing with it until you get a look you love!

I used a variety of Yellow, red, orange, and almost pinkish Sunflowers.

And even threw in some white ones as well for variety! The combo just screams “Fall” doesn’t it?

How to Make a Mini Calendar Print Block for your Tiered Tray

I made this adorable Dollar Tree Thankful and Blessed Tiered Tray Decor on video, so you can WATCH the step by step tutorial on HERE.

Start this cutie off by staining the entire thing with Antique wax. Then, trace the shape onto your faux wood scrapbook paper, cut it out, and Mod Podge it right on. Use your sanding block to sand off any excess paper and give a more finished look like you see below. Doesn’t it look like it was made like that with the “wood paper?

Mod Podge your Dollar Tree Thankful and Blessed Mini Calendar print front and center, and then use hot glue to attach a piece of twine around the outer edge of the print.

Now to make a mini Manda Panda Bow-tie! Start by layering a few pieces of ribbon, about 3 inches long, on top of each other and tying a piece of twine around the center. I used green burlap on the bottom, then brown burlap, then gold, then lacey thin burlap, and 2 super thin green on top. Isn’t she cute?!

Fall Rustic Handmade Tiered Tray Inspo

Step out of the traditional fall colored box with this colorful handmade Rustic Tiered Tray decor. There’s Sunflowers, pops of Teal, a hint of Leopard, and Pumpkins galore. If this 3 Tiered Tray doesn’t get you all the Fall feels and Autumn vibes, I don’t know what will!

Over the summer I made a vow to decorate my Fall Rustic Tiered Tray with 100% handmade crafts and DIY’s. So, after I made the tray itself, I set out on a mission to do just that. It started with my love for all things mini, and then the obsession for the color Teal came in. The result is this absofreakinglutely stunning Fall Tiered Tray that you see here for inspiration!

Tiered Trays come in alllll sorts of shapes, sizes, colors, and styles. Same with peoples Fall colors for crafts and decor. You could go the more traditional route with Oranges and browns. You could go the neutral farmhouse route with whites and blacks and well…neutral. OR you could pull a Manda Panda Projects and add as much color as possible, more specifically lots of pops of Teal!

Some of my very favorite things in life are the color Teal, Sunflowers, and some good ‘ole rustic charm. This Fall Handmade Rustic Tiered Tray wraps my favorite things all up in to one big beautiful mess!

If you’re following along on Facebook, you probably saw me make many of the pieces you see here live. If it’s handmade and on this tiered tray, then there is a tutorial for it. The only things I did NOT make are some of the little filler pumpkins and hay bales, the wood bead garland which was gifted to me by one of my amazing crafty friends, the mini mugs from Hobby Lobby because they were just too cute not to add, and the little Happy Harvest truck from Hobby Lobby as well, because it was only $1.99 and why not throw it on there (And many of those wouldn’t even be too hard to make).

Handmade Crafts for a Fall Tiered Tray

I have no rhyme or reason to how I decorate my Fall Handmade Tiered Tray. I know there are some decorating “rules” you are supposed to follow, but honestly I’ve never been one to follow those rules! I’m a #CraftyRebel.

First things first, you need to start with clean slate and take EVERYTHING off of your tray. Then I get out everything that I plan to use, so that I have it all right there in front of me.

Then, I just start putting things on and moving them around until I like how it looks. It takes a bit of tweaking and tinkering until you get it just right, but in the end you are left with something uh-maz-ing. One trick I have is to use little round wood discs to use as risers to create some height on things in the back. It makes a world of difference

Let’s start from the Top! Of course we want the Mixed Sunflower Bouquet to be front and center. This was a Dollar Tree project we made with the little prints on the back of the calendar. Same with the Farm Fresh Pumpkins mini frame. I threw the Salt and Pepper shakers on there as a way for the frame to stand up for now, but I do plan to mod podge a small sunflower napkin to the shakers to make them even more fabulous.

The adorable little “Unbelievably Blessed” mini mug was a Fall Hobby Lobby find, isn’t it so stinkin’ cute! I did end up switching out the orange pumpkin in the mug for a teal one, so that there was a pop of color on the top level to balance it out with the rest.

Moving down to the second Tier (perhaps my fave tier). In the back we have two of the cutest darn handmade pumpkins, a twine one for a rustic feel, and a teal wood bead one to add some color. I like to mix up the pops of color with the more neutral tones to make it more eye catching. Of course I threw on a hay bale from DT to add some height for the teal pumpkin.

On the right we have yet another handmade piece, a Pumpkin Patch that we made with paint stick scraps! This is one of my faves because it saved the scraps from the garbage, and just hate to throw things out. The “Thankful and Blessed” block you see on the left is another Dollar Tree Calendar craft and I propped that inside of the mini mug to give it a fun and whimsy feel.

The last main piece on this tier is the cute Happy Harvest truck, also from the good ‘ole Hob Lob. After I arranged all of those pieces on the second tier I felt like it needed a little more to fill in the empty space. I then remembered one of my amazing followers sent me this white, teal, and mustard Wood Bead Garland! After adding the garland, a few mini hay bales and a fabric sunflower, it felt complete!

Moving right along to the bottom tier we have one of my favorite DIYS, the Dollar Tree Patchwork Pumpkin towards the back.

I wasn’t sure this was going to fit on my tray, so I was really happy that it did.

Towards the front we have 4 handmade pieces, all of which I love! Working our way from left to right we’ve got the adorable .10 cent Pumpkin Patch which was a total hit over on Instagram, the Mini Cutting Board Pumpkin, another Twine Pumpkin, and the “Hello Autumn” Pumpkin Crate.

If you see any little empty spaces, use your filler pumpkins and hay bales to fill in the gaps. I even snuck in one last DIY that can barely see which is the Mini Pallet Board Burlap Pumpkin on the right behind the twine pumpkin. It fit, so why not. My motto is “Better to have too much on your tray than too little”. Some say I’m “Extra”, but I say ” Am I Extra? Or are you Basic?” (If you’re on TikTok than you know LOL).

Dollar Tree Thankful Pumpkin Door Hanger

Step out of the traditional fall colored box with this gorgeous ‘Thankful’ Door Hanger made with a Dollar Tree foam pumpkin. The sunflowers, the teal, the burlap, the crackle, the buffalo check……a match made in Fall Crafty Heaven!

As you see I chose to go with the sunflower, teal, and black and white check theme for this Dollar Tree Pumpkin Door Hanger. That doesn’t mean that YOU have to do the same should you choose to make this! You could totally mix up the colors to match YOUR fall decor, go with the traditional fall colors, or keep it completely neutral if you like. But if you know me…..you know I love *all the colors*!

The fabric used to make this Dollar Tree Burlap Pumpkin was found at Dollar Tree guys!!! So keep your eye out for new adorable prints at your local DT. Don’t worry if yours doesn’t carry it, I’ve found some equally as pretty, if not prettier, fabric at Walmart. And c’mon, a girl can never have enough fabric. (Famous last words)

Supplies Needed to make a Thankful Pumpkin Door Hanger

Dollar Tree wooden Tag shaped sign (I used the back)
Wood beads
Twine
Galvanized metal “Thankful”
Foam pumpkin
Paper sunflower embellishment
Variety of coordinating ribbon and/or fabric – I used 3 Sunflower fabric patterns and some black and white ribbon
Raffia
Stick or something for the pumpkin stem
Teal burlap ribbon
Burlap
White paint
Teal paint
Elmer’s School Glue
Glue Gun

How to Make a Thankful Door Hanger with a Dollar Tree Foam Pumpkin

Since this Dollar Tree Burlap Pumpkin Hanger was made live on my Facebook page, I don’t have step by step photos showing you exactly how to make this, so I encourage you to watch the REPLAY.

To get the crackle effect that you see on the back of the door hanger you just use Elmer’s glue and paint! For this specific project I used Teal paint as the base, then applied the white glue on top, and then white paint on top of that. Dry with your heat gun, and Voila! Crackle! It’s a super easy technique and I have a full in depth written tutorial and video on exactly how to do it.

The Sunflower, truck, and teal plaid “Scrappy Bow” that I made for this door hanger was also super simple! Just cut 1-2 in strips of fabric, about 10 inches long, and add in some strips of various coordinating ribbon. Layer them in a random “X” (Criss cross) fashion with the center of the X being towards the top, so that the tails of the bow are longer then the top portion. Mix in some raffia, tie a piece of twine around the center, and top with a paper sunflower!

You could use the word “Thankful” like I did, or you could choose another word of your choice like maybe “Grateful”, or even “Welcome” which would be perfect for a Door Hanger.

Thanksgiving Toilet Paper Roll Turkey Windsock Craft

Turn your empty toilet paper rolls from trash to craft with this fun and easy Thanksgiving Turkey Windsock. The kids will just love making this feathered Turkey with supplies you may already have on hand!

I don’t know about you, but I am a Toilet.Paper.Roll.Hoarder. With the Holidays fast approaching, now it’s there time to shine, and this Thanksgiving Turkey Windsock is the perfect kids craft to kick off the Toilet Paper Roll Crafting season!

We went a little Turkey Crafting Crazy now that Halloween is over and came up with a Clothespin Turkey and cute Pine Cone Turkey too!

The kiddos will love sticking the feathers into the Turkey’s toilet paper “head”, they’re just such a fun supply to craft with. Our cat thoroughly enjoyed making this Turkey Windsock too, and we spent a good deal of this craft sesh shooing him off the table as he was desperately trying to attack the feathers!

Supplies Needed to Make a Toilet Paper Roll Turkey Windsock for Thanksgiving

Empty toilet paper roll
Brown paint
Googly eyes
Felt – Orange and red (you could also use construction paper)
Colored feathers
Crepe paper streamers or ribbon – Orange, yellow, and red
Glue
String to hang

How to make a Turkey Windsock with a Toilet Paper Roll

Follow the below easy steps to turn your toilet paper toll trash into a fun Turkey Windsock craft for Thanksgiving!

First, paint the empty toilet paper roll all brown and allow to dry completely.

Cut an orange triangle out of felt to make a beak, and a red oblong piece out of felt to make the Snood (did you know it was called that?!)

Glue the Googly eyes, beak, and snood to the toilet paper roll to make the Turkeys face.

Cut 6 long strips of streamers, 2 of each color, about 12-18″ long depending on how long you want your windsock to hang. If you used ribbon instead of paper streamers, you may need to cut more/less strips depending on how wide the ribbon is.

Glue the crepe paper strips to the bottom inside part of the painted toilet paper roll, alternating colors as you glue them around.

Glue some feathers to the top back part of the toilet paper tube Turkey.

Last, glue a small piece of string across the top of your Toilet Paper Tube Turkey craft so that you can hang your windsock wherever you’d like.

We hung ours outside on the front porch and just love how the Turkeys colorful streamers blow gratefully in the wind!

This is such a fun and simple craft you can do with the kiddos in preparation for Thanksgiving which is just around the corner. The best part is you get to use up all those empty toilet paper tube rolls you’ve been hoarding all year long!
