There is something about the color TEAL that just screams Spring to me, it’s so fun and vibrant! This Teal and Buffalo Check combo is a fun and trendy piece of DIY decor for Easter, and it was made with a Dollar Tree wooden sign, so it’s affordable too. The antique wax just tops this off and gives the Bunny that distressed, worn and dingy look, making it one of my all-time fave Spring and Easter DIY’s!
Would you believe this Buffalo Check Bunny is made of cardboard?! Whenever there’s a certain shape or cutout that you wish you had in wood, no fear, cardboard to the rescue, it’s one of my very favorite craft supplies! When I made this adorable “HOP” Shelf Sitter I didn’t have one of the wooden letters (you’ll have to take a look and guess which one), so a nice and sturdy piece of cardboard did the trick.
Either way, wood or cardboard, I think you’re going to love this Dollar Tree DIY!
