The only thing cuter than a Cutting Board Pumpkin, is a MINI Cutting board TEAL Pumpkin! This adorable little piece of fall decor is the perfect way to style your tiered tray with all the Fall Feels for the upcoming Holiday season!
It’s not even September yet and we have already made a ton of Fall DIY’s live over on my Facebook page. You’ll notice a common theme between this Mini Cutting Board Pumpkin, the Wooden Stick Pumpkin, the Happy Burlap Sunflower, and a few others that I don’t even have up on the blog yet. That theme is TEAL!
I can’t believe it took me this many years to realize that Teal is the ultimate fall color! Do you craft and decorate with this uh-maz-ing color for fall too? If not, don’t you worry, you could make this mini cutting board pumpkin the traditional orange, or even a natural wood or white of you’re going for a rustic #FarmhouseFeel.
No matter how you decide to make this cute little cutting board craft, it’s sure to look fabulous on your Fall Tiered Tray! The ‘Robert Stanley Collection’ (from Hobby Lobby) mini cutting board is the perfect size, but you can get small ones like this on Amazon too!
As with any of the DIY’s you see here at Manda Panda Projects, substitute supplies where needed! If you don’t have something I use, who cares, just figure out what you can use instead and make it your own. I’m simply here to inspire.

How to Make a Mini Wooden Round Pumpkin Cutting Board
I made this mini and adorable cutting board pumpkin on video, so you can WATCH the step by step tutorial HERE or click on the picture right below.
This little piece of fall diy decor is a cinch to make and I’ll show you how! It starts with this adorable miniature little cutting board from Hobby Lobby that I didn’t even have to stain because it was such a nice wood color. If you have one of the raw wooden ones that I linked above from Amazon, you may want to give it a quick stain to darken the wood up.
Next, just glue your wooden round right to the cutting board as is.
Next, take a stick from your yard and glue that baby on as the pumpkin stem. And it doesn’t have to be a stick, use whatever you have that will work as a stem!
Now let’s go ahead and paint your wooden “pumpkin” teal (or whatever color you like for that matter, you could go traditional orange). To make this little cutting board craft extra fun, I decided to add some white polka dots.
Once the paint is dry, add a mini little messy raffia bow to the top of your pumpkin.
Now wrap some twine around the handle of the mini cutting board to give it a decorative look. Use a dab of hot glue to hold the end in place on the back.
The last thing we need to do is make the wood bead garland, and trust me you don’t want to skip this piece, I think it really made the project! Just paint some small wood beads, half white and half teal, and string them onto a piece of twine. Tie the twine around the hold in the handle and drape it around the little cutting board so that it sits nicely.
I happened to have that teal little mini flower that I used as a “tassel”, but if you don’t have one of those you could make a small twine tassel or even tie a cute little knot around the end.
I finished it off with a small simple polka dot burlap bow, but that piece is totally up to you. I wouldn’t even call it a bow, it’s just a loop of burlap, pinched and glued in the middle. Simple, yet cute.
There we have it! You’ve got yourself an adorable mini cutting board wooden pumpkin to add to your DIY Fall decor or tiered tray this year! And boy does this one look fabulous with my Country Wooden Stick Pumpkin!
