The only thing better then an ornament Christmas Tree, is a COLORFUL Ornament Bulb Christmas Tree made with a cute holiday napkin. This easy to make DIY is sure to make your Christmas Decor bright and cheery all season long!
If you know me, you know that I am a color FANATIC! I just love alllll the colors of the Lisa Frank rainbow and I am drawn to anything bright and cheery.
So it shouldn’t be a surprise that I decided to do a Colorful Ornament Christmas Tree Frame!
I found these adorable rainbow napkins with Christmas words and phrases at Walmart a year or so back, so I’m not sure they still make them but as soon as I saw them I had to have them.
To be honest, I wasn’t sure anyone would love this as much as I do, since it’s a little “extra”. But the response I received for it was uh-maz-ing! SOoOO I’m so happy you’re loving it as much as I do!
I was pretty excited when I found these rainbow ornament bulbs too, since I love a good ornament craft. They are not just for hanging on your tree you know! Last year in The CRafterparty, we made a Hanging Ornament Reverse Canvas that I just fell in love with, and I know you would love as well.

How to Make a Ornament Christmas Tree Frame
I made this Ornament Christmas Tree Frame on video. So you can WATCH the tutorial by clicking below.
The hardest part of this project, was getting that rainbow ombre trim to go allllllll the way around the wood frame. The napkin only had the trim on the left hand side and the bottom, so I had to piece two napkins together to get it to go on all 4 sides.
All I did was Mod Podge the napkin to the wood frame, and then cut the trim edge off of a second napkin, and Mod Podge those pieces to the other sides that didn’t have the trim. I wouldn’t say it was HARD, but more of a pain in the booty.
After that, I hot glued the colorful ornament bulbs onto the frame in the shape of a Christmas Tree.
I made a simple “shoestring” bow and glued that to the top of the Christmas Tree and added a small piece of bling from Totally Dazzled to the center.
For the tree “trunk” I rolled a piece of the same glitter ribbon and glued that to the bottom.
I finished off by painting 4 half wood beads with silver paint, and gluing the, to each of the 4 corners.
I loved this colorful Christmas napkin SO much, that I made a second craft to go along with it.
It’s perfect addition to my rainbow Christmas theme, doesn’t it look so fun with my Rainbow 2 ft tree!?
