Take your Trash and turn it into Treasure by upcycling an aluminum can into this beautiful Crushed Can Decor. The flowers and the bunny make this the perfect piece to take you from Easter right into Spring, but this craft is so versatile it could be adapted for any season or holiday. Once you make one, you won’t be able to stop!

There’s nothing I love more than a project that can be made on a budget, with something that you were most likely going to recycle or throw away! And if you haven’t seen these Smashed Can Upcycles floating around the internet and Facebook craft groups, then you must be living underneath a rock!
I had several requests from people in my VIP Crafting Group, The CRafterparty, to learn to make one of this Crushed Can DIY, so that’s exactly what we did.

These Crushed Can Crafts are so fun to make, that I guarantee that you won’t be able to stop at just one. You’ll be making one for each season and holiday because they are so versatile and easy to adapt for the colors and themes that you want.

The whole project starts with something that you most likely have in your cabinet at home…..a smashed aluminum can! Just don’t do what I did and empty a can of crushed tomatoes out JUST so that you can do this craft! LOL!

For this adorable project I decided to use a napkin that can work for both Easter and still be kept up through spring. This adorable Bunny with the glasses napkin from Marshalls was the winner.

And don’t these flowers match just perfectly…

A little twine decoration for trim….

And of course a Shaggy bow on the hanger….

This crushed can even looks cute from the back….

As always…be inspired to make it your own and if you need a little help, come join us in The CRafterparty!
