The only thing better than a Sunflower craft in my eyes, is a Rainbow Sunflower craft! This DIY Wooden Rainbow Sunflower is the perfect pop of color for a gallery wall, and it’s made with a surprise little craft supply you may not expect. Wooden biscuits! Or as I like to call them….Wooden flower petals!
I came across these little wooden craft soldiers while attempting to order something different on Amazon, but accidentally ordered these instead. When I received them, my first reaction was “This wasn’t what I ordered!”, but I then immediately thought “These look just like flower petals!”.
So instead of returning them to the Amazon gods, this DIY Wooden Rainbow Sunflower was born. And if you’ve been around these parts for any amount of time, than you know two of my very *favorite things* are Rainbows and Sunflowers!
I’ve been long overdue for a Sunflower craft, the last one I did was the Hello Spring Sunflower and it’s now Summer!
Apparently, these little unknown wooden supplies come in various sizes, and although any size would work for this Sunflower, the size I accidentally ordered was size 0. Oh, and I found out afterwards that what I was TRYING to order was Drift wood pieces, and those can be found in the Woodpile section at Hobby Lobby. Maybe next time..LOL.
