Lets continue with day 2 of our “Back of the Calendar Crafts” series with these cute and clever Interchangeable Frame decor! We’re just getting into the week of crafts made with the minis on the back of the Dollar Tree 2022 Calendar, and this one is an interchangeable one!
Day 2 of the “Back of the Calendar crafts” series! Today we’re making Interchangeable Frames with ALL of the calendar prints so that we can use the decor all year round for each and every season!
If you aren’t aware, this week were doing a series of crafts with the Dollar Tree 2022 Calendar prints. But it’s not what you think. We’re not using the large prints for each month. All of the crafts we’re doing can be made with the BACK of the calendar ‘minis’! Hence the name “Back of the Calendar crafts series LOL!
Make sure to check out a few others from the series like this Dollar Tree Mini Farm Fresh Pumpkins Frame, as well as Day 1’s Thankful and Blessed Tiered Tray Block that you can see to the right in the pic below.
The best part of this project is that it totally doesn’t have to be made with the Dollar Tree Calendar prints. If you weren’t able to get your hands on the calendars, there a taons of printables available on the internet, and many of them are even free. Just do a good ‘ole Google search and see what ya can find.

How to Make Interchangeable Frames with the Dollar Tree Calendar Minis
I made these adorable Dollar Tree Interchangeable Frames on video, so you can WATCH the step by step tutorial on HERE.
Easy does not even begin to describe this little project. In fact its so easy I wouldn’t even really call it a project!
First things first, take the back page of the Dollar Tree calendar with the minis, and glue it to a piece of cardstock or poster board. Then cut out all 12 of the Dollar Tree Minis so you’re left with 12 squares, and glue a small magnet to the back of each one.
For the galvanized metal frame, all you have to do is make a scrappy messy bow and glue it to the top of the frame.
Voila, that’s it! Now you can switch out the print as often as you like! Fresh flowers for spring……
Or Pumpkins for Halloween and Fall….
You get the point! Now for the wooden frame, just cut a piece of faux wood scrapbook paper and insert it into the back of the frame.
Now I glued a magnet to the center, but to be honest I think Velcro would work better for this one. The magnets wanted to swivel and the print hung crooked. You’d have to glue them on just right, so it can work but I’d stick with the easier Velcro option.
This could not be any easier!
How stinkin’ cute did these Dollar Tree Interchangeable frames turn out?! SO happy we made it through day 2 of our “Back of the Calendar Crafts” series, make sure to stay tuned for day 3!
