Dollar Tree DIY fall decor on a budget! This FALL Leaf Porch Sign is easy, affordable, cute, and fun to make. Your home will have all the fall feels when you make this to decorate your home this season!
If there is one thing I love about a good ole’ Dollar Tree DIY, its that you can craft and decorate your home on a budget!
All you need is a few supplies to bring this one together, and would you know something? Those Letters are CARDBOARD!?
Making this project even MORE affordable then if you were to use wood letters.
I think the total cost for this one is about $3. $1 for the sign, $1 for the leaves, and less than $1 for the cardboard and paint. SCORE!

How to Make a Dollar Tree FALL Leaf Porch Sign
I made this Dollar Tree FALL Leaf Porch Sign on video. So you can WATCH the tutorial by clicking below.
First, I stained the back of the DT sign with Waverly Antique Wax, and then I “chipped” it using vaseline and white paint. All you do is put vaseline randomly on the surface, and then paint over the top with the paint. Once it is dry, use a paint scraper and the paint will “chip” off where the Vaseline was.
You can SEE how I do it in this video HERE.
Next, glue the large burlap leaves to the sign. I did brown, orange, tan, and then teal.
Then, use either wood letters, OR cut them out of cardboard (you can find a template on Google), and paint them all white. Distress them a bit with the Antique wax and then glue them to the leaves.
Thats it, thats all! Easy as can be, but packs a big punch. This would look just adorbs on a front porch!
There is also an adorable neutral, gold, and leopard print version of this craft that we made in my subscription group, The CRafterparty!
