If you’ve been crafting for any amount of time, than you know how essential the Dollar Tree is for seasonal decor and supplies. You also know how quickly the items come and go, so being first on the scene is critical to get your share of the goods! Come see the amazing Dollar Tree Easter and Spring finds and how you can use them to make the more expensive decor sold at Michaels!
This last Dollar Tree run was an interesting one. They had some middle shelves and a row against the wall with Spring and Easter decor. There was still a row and a half of Valentine’s (I’m over it LOL), and an entire row of St. Patty’s. DT was confused about who it wanted to be that day! I was instantly attracted to the Spring Easter so let’s go see what I got!
I did a super short Facebook Live tour of my Dollar Tree Spring and Easter finds that day, so you can go HERE to check that out or watch the video below, it’s worth the 6 minute watch!
They were already running low on the Spring and Summer “Welcome” signs, and it’s not even March. This is what I’m talking about, you’ve got to get there early! BUT the thing is, you can use these signs for any Holiday or occasion. The backs of them are just craft surfaces, like the super fun St. Patty’s Door Hanger I made from the back of a Valentine sign!
Vintage trucks, vintage trucks, and more vintage trucks!
Springy floral prints, oh my!
Ok, I have absolutely no idea what you would do with these, but you better believe that I grabbed a pack! There is just something about the wood with the gold pineapples that I couldn’t resist. Let me know if you have any fun ideas!
Look at this entire row of St. Patty’s! I’m not huge on crafting for this Holiday. but if you are, they’ve got ya covered. I did make a fun St. Patty’s Door Hanger this year though.
I’m noticing lots of new things from last year!
When you see each item, keep an open mind. Don’t think about what it looks like now, think about what it COULD look like after you get your hands on it.
This section was a little bit picked through, or maybe the clerks were just putting the things out. Either way, look at all the Easter and springy cuteness!
Ok, so keep in mind that allllll of the items you see at Dollar Tree are, well, $1! And I love me some Dollar Tree, don’t get me wrong, but Michael’s has some cute ass stuff! The problem is, it’s EXPENSIVE! Like “I would never pay that” type of expensive. That doesn’t stop me from swinging by and checking out what they have though!
Because hey, we’re crafty and some of the things I’m about to show you will make you think “Hey I could make that!”. Like this “HoP” sign…
And this “HoP” sign too! Problem is, this one was about $19. You could totally make this with Cardboard, in fact I am going to make this in cardboard soon so make sure to follow me on Instagram @Mandapandaprojects, so you can see how my version comes out.
Garland, Garland, and more Garland! Also very easy to make.
Hello Spring!
Isn’t this beautiful?!
Darling little hanging Bunnies! Yup, gonna make these too!
Happy Spring!
Have an extra tobacco basket hanging around in your craft stash? This one would be super easy to recreate.
Last but not least an open Easter Shadowbox. SO cute!
