It’s spooky, it’s scary, its Orange, Black, and Purple…..it’s a Halloween decorated 2 tiered tray! With all this handmade cutesy Halloweeny goodness, I hope this inspires you to craft and decorate a Halloween Tiered Tray of your own this Holiday season! With ghosts, pumpkins, spiders, mummies, Frankensteins and more, whats not to LOVE?!
I absolutely LOVE to hand make everything for all my tiered trays. In fact, I even made the tray itself in my subscription craft group, The CRafterparty!
It has become a sort of tradition to have Tiered Tray Live extravaganzas on my Facebook page where I go on a 1, 2 or even 3 week long spree hand making everything for my tray. The year before I did a Fall themed tray, so last year I had to do Halloween of course.
This particular Halloween Tiered Tray is my most underrated tray to date! I went live and made allll sorts of cute things for it, but then never went live to officially decorate it! I have no clue how or why I dropped that ball on that one, but don’t worry because I got lots of pics.
And everything and anything that you see on this tray that you love, there is a tutorial for and I’ll link to each.

Handmade Crafts for a Patriotic Tiered Tray
The pics you’re going to see, and this blog post is a little bit of a hot mess, but there are LOTS of cute Tiered Tray crafts in it, so you are sure to be at least inspired!
I have no rhyme or reason to how I decorated my Halloween Handmade Tiered Tray. In fact, this tray went through quite a few iterations as the holiday season went on and as I continued to craft and make things for it.
You’ll notice in these pics, that there are different items in different places, so just roll with it and enjoy and use it as inspiration for when you’re decorating YOUR tray this Halloween.
At one point I had the tray fully decorated. Then I made another cute tiered tray craft so I moved some things around to add it. And then I did that a few more times. SOOO here is a conglomeration of pics, but the one thing that they all have in common is that they are super dee duper cute.
First things first, you need to start with clean slate and take EVERYTHING off of your tray. Then I get out everything that I plan to use, so that I have it all right there in front of me.
I usually start by putting my bigger staple pieces on, then adding some smaller pieces, and finishing it off with the mini mini things and filler pieces. Then move and tinker until I’m Happy!
One trick I have is to use little round wood discs to use as risers to create some height on things in the back. It makes a world of difference, although I don’t use them as much with this smaller tray as I do with my larger wooden round 3 tiered tray (it’s HUGE).
In this first set up of the top, I had my Dollar Tree Spooky Halloween Lantern, Dollar Tree Tinsel Ghost makeover, and my very fave…..the Halloween Jenga Block Book Stack.
Here I switched out the lantern for the Buffalo Check Ghost decor. I added some spiderwebs, foam bones, mini pumpkins, and little foam flowers as cute filler pieces. You can just barely see the Ghost Wood Bead Garland off to the right.
And oooonnneeeeee last version of the top I had the most cutest Fake Bug Mug Topper that we made in The CRafterparty when we had a guest crafter in there. Right in front is the Black and White Ghost Wood Bead Garland.
One of my tiered trays wouldn’t be complete without a cute mini banner like this BOO Banner.
The bottom tier didn’t change quite as much, but it is just as cute as the top! I filled it with more pumkins. and flowers, and bones, and front and center is the Purple Spider Frame.
Leaning right against the spider is the totally cute Halloween Witches Broom, with a sparkly spider crawling right up it!
In the back is where I put the larger pieces, like this Hocus Pocus Hexagon that was made with one of the napkins from my Big Pack of Craftkins (Napkins for Craftin’ Subscription).
Next to the Hocus Pocus is the Spooky Ghost Shelf Sitter, but you can’t really see it in the pic above, so here’s a pic of it sitting on top of my tray (it was only on top for this pic, I never left it up there).
On the bottom off to the left is this adorable Mini BOO Ghost Frame, also made with a Craftkin!
Quite possibly my very FAVE piece on the entire Halloween Tiered Tray is the Jenga Block Halloween Character (Pumpkin, Frankenstein, Ghost, and Mummy) stand. Seriously how cute is that?!
And here she is in all her glory! A view from side of the tray so you can get the full picture of some of the items that are hard to see in the individual tier pics. You can see the cute Burlap Ghost and Frankenstein sitting right in front that I made for the tray, but couldn’t quite fit it on there!
