With red, black and white Rae Dunn inspired Christmas bulbs, this Hanging Ornament Reverse Canvas is one piece of DIY Christmas Decor that you’re not gonna want to miss! It’s fun, it’s gorgeous, it’s affordable, and it’s easy to make. Whats not to love!?
We make a ton of easy and affordable DIY Holiday projects in my private crafting group, The CRafterparty, but this one is one of my favorites!
It’s gotta be that red, black, and white theme that I love so much for Christmas. How cute does this look with all the other crafts we made this year Live over on my Facebook page? That Wooden Shim Christmas Tree is another fan fave.
I love that it can be made in so many ways, so many styles, and so many colors depending on how you love to craft and decorate for Christmas. No two Hanging Christmas Ornament Reverse Canvases will look the same.

You can make this Hanging Ornament Reverse Canvas in any color or style imaginable! You could go vintage with homespun fabric and twine and lacy ornaments. You could go farmhouse and stick with black and white. Or you could go traditional with some good ‘ole red and green.
The possibilities are endless, and they are up to you!
I decided to use some Rae Dunn inspired ornament bulbs that I found at Walmart. Red, black and white of course! Along with some silver bells for good measure.
We made a big ‘ole messy bow that matches just perfectly, and stuck that right on the top.
It’s simple, yet elegant and fun!
