Candy Corn. You either love it, or you hate it. But either way, I bet you love crafting and decorating with it! If you’re Team Candy Corn then you are gonna want to grab your supplies so you can make this Mixed Media Candy Corn Craft for Fall and Halloween!
I am not gonna lie….I don’t loooveeeee Candy Corn *gasp*! It’s just not that good. I mean artificially flavored chewy powdery sugar? Nah, I’ll pass!
But what I DO love is to craft and decorate with Candy Corn. I just made adorable Kraft Paper Candy Corn, and today I bring to you this Mixed Media Candy Corn DIY!
I call it Mixed Media because I used unlikely random supplies that wouldn’t think would be used to make a Candy Corn. Hence the Sunflowers.
But then again, you don’t have to twist my arm to add Sunflowers into anything I do because I’m OSD (Obsessive Sunflower Disorder)

How to Make a Mixed Media Candy Corn
I made this super cute Fall Candy Corn DIY on video, so you can WATCH it or click on the picture right below.
Start off by staining your entire wooden surface with Antique Wax so that it’s a nice dark brown like you see here.
To get the Candy Corn shape I used a marker and freehanded the shape right onto the wood. Then start cutting your yarn and ribbon the various lengths and gluing them on.
After I added the yellow satin ribbon for the bottom of the Candy Corn, I glued 2 lines of faux sunflower heads, with strips of yellow pom pom trim on top and in between.
Finish the Mixed Media Candy Corn off by gluing jute rope all along the outline of it.
No Candy Corn craft would be complete without a cute little bow! I just took a couple strips of yellow and orange ribbon and pom pom trim and layered them in an X on top of a strip of burlap, and then tied a piece of twine around the center for a super easy Not-a-bow, bow.
Cutest Candy Corn you ever did see!
