How to Make a Scrapbook Paper Christmas Tree
I made this amazing Lumberjack Scrapbook Christmas Tree on video, so you can WATCH the step by step tutorial on HERE.
We started off covering the back of a Dollar Tree sign with Antique Wax. The surface was about 5″x15″, but you could make this any size. Once its been stained, dry brush white all over to give it an almost “snowy” look.
Next we cut several triangles of coordinating scrapbook paper. We then used glue dots to attach them to the board, one on top of the other, folding them just a bit in the middle to make them 3D so they pop off of the surface like you see below.
You could use any type of scrapbook paper you like, it doesn’t have to be the rustic lumberjack theme that I went with. Trust me I get it, not everyone wants to use Camo in their Christmas Decor.
Last but not least, make an adorable little messy bow as the tree topper. Just layer a bunch of coordinating ribbons on top of each other in an X formation, and tie a piece of twine around the center.
How stinkin’ cute did this Scrapbook Paper Christmas Tree turn out! SO happy we made it through 21 days of CRAFTMAS so far, make sure to stay tuned for day 22!
