Decorating a kitchen can be fun when you add some bright colors and animal prints into the mix. This Sunflower and Cow Print Kitchen is just the right amount of happy with the bright yellow flowers, and wild with accents of Cow Print. Who needs to choose between a sunflower kitchen and a cow kitchen, when you can have BOTH!
I am sooo excited to share with you my fun and funky Sunflower and Cow Print Kitchen that has been a loooonggg time coming. Even if this wild of a theme is not your thang, it’s still fun to look at and enjoy from afar. I hope you love it as much as I do!
I recently moved into a new apartment after 5 and a half long years in a tiny old apartment about 2 minutes away. As soon as we moved in, I knew right away there would be A LOT of sunflower decor happening.
Heres a pic of the kitchen BEFORE all of this sunflowerness happened! This is actual a photo of the apartment that I first looked at, so everything is reversed but you get the idea! Everything else is exactly the same besides the orientation.
If you know me at all, then you know that I love three things (well there are more, but three MAIN things), and those are Sunflowers, Lisa Frank Rainbow colors, and Leopard Print. So the very FIRST thing I did was create a vintage vibe Sunflower living room with a gorgeous Sunflower Gallery Wall.
But the very NEXT thing I did was create this Sunflower and Cow Print Kitchen.
The cow print kind of happened on accident. While I was searching for “Sunflower and Buffalo Check Kitchen Decor” on Amazon, I came across this Sunflower and Cow Print Welcome sign, and I never looked back. I had no intentions of doing Cow Print, but when I saw it I was hooked LOL!

Let’s Decorate a Sunflower and Cow Print Kitchen
The thing I love about my kitchen is that its the perfect combo of “lived in” and “magazine worthy”. It’s pretty and put together, but it’s also functional. Like the red toaster oven on the counter. Does it match? NO. But am I going to pull it in and out of the cabinets every time I need to use it? NO.
I contemplated moving it for the blog photos, but then I decided that wouldn’t be real. So I left it in! All in its red glory (it works perfectly, I can’t justify getting a new one just because of the color).
Many of the things you see in my kitchen were gifted to me as housewarming gifts by my crafty FB friends, and for that I am SOOO thankful! Lee me know if you see something that you gifted me and tell me how you think it looks in my home!
The Sunflower Rusted Utensil Jar was THE very first craft that I made for my new place in my subscription group, The CRafterparty, and doesn’t it look just fabulous next to my sunflower paper towel holder!? #sunflowereverything
Here is the sign that started it all! The Sunflower and cow print Welcome sign that was also a housewarming gift. This may be an odd place for the word “Welcome”, but I love the sign there so much I don’t care if it says “I love poop” LOL!!
The stove wouldn’t be complete with the adorable Sunflower spoon rests that go just perfectly with the Sunflower kitchen towels.
This is my very most favoritist part of the entire kitchen…the French Sunflower canister set. OH my goodness is it not gorgeous!? I saw a plate set first, but I’m not gonna lie, this is a pretty pricey pattern and I just couldn’t spend the money for plates that I won’t even use since we use paper!
When I got this canister set as a gift I was absolutely ecstatic! I actually received 2 different ones, but the other goes so well in my living room I have it as decor on my bookshelf.
The gorgeous sunflower wax warmer is from Pink Zebra and if you haven’t checked out their wax sprinkles you are missing OUT.
I love how the canister set has sunflowers AND bees (and butterflies too!). So pretty! I WILL own the 16 piece dinnerware set one day. #goals
Over here is where the cow print really comes in full force with the Cow Window Valance. But don’t you just love how I added the string of sunflowers across the top so that it wasn’t so BAM..cow… in your face.
Funny story about that valance. I had absolutely NO idea how to do curtains, and it didn’t cross my mind that I may need more than 1 panel to fill the window. Needless to say, the window was rocking one flat panel that barely reached the ends for a good month before the other one came. Rookie mistake, I know.
The Thankful, Grateful, Blessed signs right above the window were the perfect touch for this area.
And we can’t forget those darling cow print with sunflower mason jars that I hand painted on Facebook Live.
That little cow sponge holder is soooooo not necessary, but ain’t he just the cutest?
It might be a bit of sunflower overkill, but I just had to through a tad of buffalo check in (that was my original plan remember!), so the super duper soft hanging hand towel was just the thing. And let me tell you, this thing is SO soft!
Last but not least, a Sunflower and cow print kitchen is not a kitchen without some cute floor mats, right? I opted for something NOT cow print on these, so I went with a match to the signs above the window. I couldn’t be more happy with how they look!
