Whether you’re just starting off crafting or you’re a total pro, there a certain tools and supplies that every crafter MUST have in their arsenal. Here are my top choices that I absolutely could not live (or craft) without! Ready to stock up!?
It was easy for me to get carried away here and just list every single craft supply that I love, but I really tried to stick with the ones that are true staples in my craft stash. These are the supplies and tools that I always have on hand no matter what projects I’m working on. These are the ones that I run to the store for if they run out, and that I cannot craft without!
They are not listed in any particular order, and I don’t expect you to run out and grab every single thing on this list in one foul swoop. I suggest grabbing a few of each every time you go shopping, and slowly build up your stash that way you’re not spending a fortune at once.
After a few months of grabbing things here and there, you’ll have a fully stocked craft room armed with the ability to make anything that your little heart desires!
If you want to see my specific recommendations on JUST glue and adhesives, make sure to check out my Girls Guide to Glue! This one is super helpful when determining which type of glue you should use for your project, and compares 11 different types and what’s used best for what!

We have trees full of Spanish moss, can’t I use that. Seems like when we owned a florist we put it in a garbage bag and sprayed bug spray in it to kill the red bugs. Do you know? Does it have to be dried first, is the bug spray necessary?!?

Hey Linda!! You’ve got to do something to kill the bugs or you could technically end up with an infestation! I think the easiest way is to boil the moss in water for 1-2 min and lay it out to dry! Easy peasy!
