Love is in the air with this rustic Valentine’s Day Tiered Tray. With the hearts, the pinks, the red’s, and the roses, this handmade 3 tiered tray is packed with Valentines decor inspo from top to bottom! Every item on this tray is handmade with Love (no pun intended!)
Last summer I made a vow to decorate my Fall Rustic Tiered Tray with 100% handmade crafts and DIY’s. So, after I made the tray itself, I set out on a mission to do just that.
After Fall was completed, I felt like I had to defend my title and hand make everything for Christmas too! SO of course I handmade my Christmas Tiered Tray decor as well.
So here we are, Valentine’s Day is just around the corner and I couldn’t NOT hand make everything for this tiered tray too. I think I’ve created a monster.
If you’re following along on Facebook, you probably saw me make many of the pieces you see here live. If it’s handmade and on this tiered tray, then there is a tutorial for it. The only things I did NOT make are some of the little filler hearts, felt roses, book stack (Dollar Tree) and the mini mugs from Hobby Lobby because they were just too cute not to add.

Handmade Crafts for a Valentines Heart Tiered Tray
I decorated this beautiful Rustic Handmade Valentines 3 Tiered Tray on a Facebook Live video, so you can WATCH me decorate it HERE or click on the picture right below.
I have no rhyme or reason to how I decorated my Valentines Handmade Tiered Tray. I know there are some decorating “rules” you are supposed to follow, but honestly I’ve never been one to follow those rules! I’m a #CraftyRebel.
First things first, you need to start with clean slate and take EVERYTHING off of your tray. Then I get out everything that I plan to use, so that I have it all right there in front of me.
Then, I just start putting things on and moving them around until I like how it looks. It takes a bit of tweaking and tinkering until you get it just right, but in the end you are left with something uh-maz-ing. One trick I have is to use little round wood discs to use as risers to create some height on things in the back. It makes a world of difference
Let’s start from the Top! You absolutely cannot miss that gorgeous Rustic Stick Heart. This one really isn’t a “tiered tray craft” because it’s actually pretty big, but since my tray is HUGE it works just fine.
Next to that we have the Pink Chunky Heart Home decor and of course the Mini Mug isn’t handmade, but it sitting on a Mini Heart Riser that IS handmade. Fill in any empty spots with some pink and red pom poms, felt roses, and pink heart table scatter. I like my trays fulllllller then full!
Moving on down to the second tier we have the .25 Cent Kisses Tag front and center. A little bit hard to see in the below pic, but to the right in the back is the adorable XOXO Napkin Tiered Tray Sitter.
One of the things that I didn’t make is the Dollar Tree bookstack on the back left, but I did put together the Scrapbook Paper Heart Frame that is sitting on top of it.
Just like the top tier, I added a mini mug with another Valentine Heart riser right in front. It was looking a little empty so I added another felt rose, along with a little wood round and a salt shaker for good measure. Again, I like my trays full. “I like full trays and I cannot lie, all you motha…….” ok I’m done LOL!
The first thing you see when we move down to the 3rd and bottom tier is the super cute Pink Camo Heart Banner. I love adding a mini banner to my trays, it’s a nice alternative (or addition) to a wood bead garland, which I didn’t make for Valentines this year.
There are a couple things in the back, that you can’t really see, but they’re there! With this big of a tray, there are going to be some things that aren’t fully visible, but you can’t leave those spaces blank of course. Those things are the two Leopard Love Frames, one in the back left and one in the back right.
Front and center we have one that was a fan fave and I saw many of you recreate on my Facebook page. The Pink Floral Heart Pallet!
On the front left we have the mini Chalkboard Heart Love Pallet, and behind that one is my personal fave…the Valentines Glamentine Heart!
Here’s a better shot of the Glamentine heart, up close and personal. This one was a little bigger than the Mini Pallet, but smaller then the Love Frame so I put it right in between the two.
Last but not least, over to the far right is the Mini Yarn Hat Gnome sitting atop a heart ceramic stand that I found while thrifting.
And here she is in all her glory! Big.Full.Pink.Gorgeous!
