With some scrap wood blocks and some paint and ribbon you can make adorable little Christmas presents for your Tiered Tray. This easy and affordable Christmas craft idea is a simple way to spruce up your DIY decor this Holiday season!
These easy Wood Block Presents are Day 4 of our 2021 Countdown to Craftmas! Every day of the countdown so far, I declare that days craft as my fave, but for real this time….THIS one is my fave (until tomorrow LOL).
Not just because they are cute AF, and that they are my fave Christmas colors (red, black, and white), but because they are super easy to make! I had two 4×4″ wood blocks leftover from the Santa and Reindeer blocks that we made in The CRafterparty, so this was the perfect way to put them to good use!

How to Make a Wood Block Presents for your Tiered Tray
I made these super cute wood block Christmas presents on video, so you can WATCH the step by step tutorial HERE.
Easy does not even begin describe how to make these! First start with your 4×4″ wood blocks, and paint one of them red and one of them white. I gave them each 2 solid coats so they were nice and bright red and white.
Then take your ribbon, and glue it around the block, making a cross at the center. For the red block, I made the X slightly off center to the top left. For the white block, I made them cross right smack in the center.
For the red block, I just took a separate piece of the white/gold ribbon and made a small loop and glued it down in the center as the “bow”. Glue the mini “joy” ornament hanging from the loop and your red wood block present is all done!
For the white block, I did the same thing using black sparkly ribbon, except I made TWO small loops and glued them in an “X” to make a small bow. I made this bow bigger since I didn’t embellish this one with an ornament.
And there ya have it! A red and a white little wood block presents to decorate your Christmas Tiered Tray! If you need some other Tiered Tray crafts to match these Wood Block Presents, check out this adorbs “Merry” Tiered Tray sitter too!
