Lemons are all the rage this summer so it’s no surprise that you’re seeing bright yellow lemon-y decor at all the home goods stores. And since they’re so super popular, of course we have to decorate a Summer tiered tray with them! That’s where this Dollar Tree Mini Burlap Lemon comes in.

This teeny, tiny, and ADORBS Mini Pallet Board Burlap Lemon was the grand finale of our 5 day Lunchtime Live Lemon challenge. This week was such a blast doing a project EVERY day live over on Facebook in my 30 minute lunch break. If you haven’t been keeping up you are definitely going to want to go back and catch the first 4 lemon crafts in this series!

Supplies Needed to make a Mini Burlap Lemon for your Tiered Tray

Mini Pallet Board (I got mine from Dollar Tree, they come in 2 sizes this is the smaller one but either would still be cute!)
Antique Wax or dark stain
Burlap
Yellow paint
Green burlap
Ribbon of your choice – (I used farmhouse lemon and Buffalo Check. You’ll just need 1 small strip of each)
Small piece of twine or string
Glue Gun (or Mod Podge)

How to Make a Mini Pallet Board Burlap Lemon

This is so easy, it doesn’t even deserve a tutorial! Just stain your pallet board dark brown, cut the shape of a lemon out of burlap and paint it yellow, and glue that bad boy to the pallet board.

Cut a small piece of green burlap for the “stem”. Then make a mini Bow-tie bow by layering 2 pieces of of ribbon on top of a piece of green burlap, and tying a piece of twine around the center. Easy Peasy!
